  • Prior to your first appointment you will receive a text message with all the information that you need to ensure a smooth and easy arrival. The text contains information on parking, directions and much more. The Yurt is also on Google maps and Apple maps as The Yurt at Belhaven.

  • All treatments are discussed at the start of the session to provide a bespoke experience to meet your needs. The Yurt Signature Treatment can include any combination of treatments from massage, reflexology, reiki, head massage and mini facial. If you are pregnant please choose the pregnancy option so the bed will be lowered in advance and have enough pillows and blankets to support you and your baby.

  • Yes. If there is space on the driveway please always use that space. This allows more parking for residential use for neighbours. There are many on street parking bays that can also be used. Please only use these bays and do not park alongside the curb outside.

  • A soundscape or sound bath is an immersive, meditative sound experience where you lie down to feel and listen to the vibrations of a variety of instruments. Deep gongs, crystal and Himalayan bowls as well as other unusual instruments are played to take you on a journey of therapeutic sound. Mini beds are prepared with duvets, pillows, bolsters and eye pillows for a luxurious experience. At the end tea and cake is provided to give you time to come back round slowly.

  • Gift vouchers have codes on them which are typed into the Acuity booking system when making an appointment. Code are valid for 12 months and cannot be used after that date. Please note that The Yurt at Belhaven books up in advance so leave ample time to book your treatment before the expiration date.

  • Yurt treatments times can be modified and cancelled up to 24 hours before. After 24 hours full payment will be taken. Please do not ask for the fee to be waived as it protects the personal income of The Yurt at Belhaven.

    Soundscapes can be transferred to a different date up to 10 days beforehand but are not refundable.

    Yoga classes are strictly non refundable.

  • 1-1 treatments at The Yurt are for women only.

    Men are very welcome at yoga classes and Soundscapes.
